RED LENTIL AND ONION FRITTERS
Hi, dear friends.Welcome to my space again. Today I’m sharing a snack recipe made from red lentil and onions which is super tasty, crunchy and will leave you addicted to its taste. It can be had with tea and puffed rice mixture in the evening or at brunch time. So let’s start making it—
- Red Lentil – 300 gms.
- Onions(finely chopped) – 1.
- Green Chillies (finely chopped)- 2.
- Asafoetida or Hing -A Pinch.
- Salt – According to taste.
- Chopped fresh coriander -A handful.
Wash and soak the red lentils for four hours. Grind the lentil slightly coarsely.
Add chopped onions, green chilies, salt, asafoetida, and coriander to the lentil batter.
Mix it up well. Heat oil in a wok. When it is hot add dollops of the batter in the oil and fry it up.
Take out the fritters on a tissue paper and serve with green chutney or green chilly sauce.
